Line Charge The Subscriber
Line Charge, also known as the Federal Communications Commission fee for
network access, is a fee instituted by the FCC to
allow the local telephone company to recover
a portion of interstate costs from their local phone
network. The fee for second and subsequent lines at
a residence are higher than the first line. |

Local
Number Portability A fee, instituted
by the FCC, designated for funding the provisioning of
systems, which in turn allow telephone customers to change service
providers without having to change their existing
directory number. |

|
Universal
Service Fund A charge instituted
by the FCC to subsidize the cost of phone
service to: consumers with low incomes, consumers
who live in areas where phone service cost
is high, schools and libraries, and rural
health
care providers. |

|
Federal
Excise Tax - A tax mandated by the federal
government imposed on all telecommunication services. |
|
|
State/County
Tax A tax on services paid to your state and/or county governments. |

have your service converted to MomentumFamily

you will keep the same quality phone line
and equipment, the conversion is seamless.
You will receive a welcome packet around the
time your service converts. You will also
receive a final bill from your previous carrier. |

At this
time, Momentum does not offer DSL service
to residential customers. If you have DSL
on your line, you would need to cancel your
DSL service with your current provider. If
you want to keep your DSL, the line the DSL
is currently on will have to remain with your
current provider and will be billed separately. |

As soon as your account is activated, your Momentum voicemail
will immediately begin accepting messages. At this time, your
old voicemail will be deactivated and you will no longer be
able to retrieve previously saved messages.
